Skills

Holyrood's Skills and Apprenticeships in Scotland conference provides an ideal opportunity to hear about the latest developments in the apprenticeships and skills policy landscape. This is the perfect platform for employers to meet with Universities, Colleges and the wider Public Sector in order to learn from each other and collaborate to overcome the key challenges facing educators, skills providers and industry.

Last year we welcomed over 160 attendees and fetaured contributions from key stakeholders, including:

  • Chris Brodie,  Lead Head, Skills Planning and Sector Development SDS
  • Hugh Aitken CBE, Director for Scotland, CBI
  • Jamie Hepburn MSP, Minister for Employability and Training, Scottish Government
  • Emma Stagg, Policy Adviser, Skills, Heritage Lottery Fund Scotland
  • Catherine Cartmell, Skills Development Manager, Museums Galleries Scotland
  • Alan Thornburrow, Scotland Director, Business in the Community
  • Plus many more.

See the 2017 review for more.

2018 brings us a revised format, more opportunities for networking and interaction with delegates as we look to continue the growth of this key event. Sponsors will benefit from a unique opportunity to establish, build and develop existing relationships through networking, showcasing expertise and engaging in interactive debate to ensure the right support is in place for each young person, educator, professional and business to reach their full potential.

Exhibition

Exhibiting at Skills & Apprenticeships in Scotland 2018 offers an unmissable opportunity to showcase your organisation, services/offerings and meet with existing and potential key client contacts.

Investing in an exhibition package will allow your organisation to engage with those at the forefront of change.

Interactive Panel Sessions

An opportunity for delegates to focus on their specialist areas.

Our themed panel session and interactive workshops give delegates a chance to break into smaller groups to discuss common challenges and shared objectives with a view to creating a strategic plan to overcome these barriers.
